Production

ZUCCHIATTI's long experience enables us to offer an established know-how in the design and manufacture of LV transformers. Over the years ZUCCHIATTI has invested in the most modern design systems and implemented an organizational and quality system in line with current market requirements.The current plant has 2500 square meters of covered area and another 3000 of uncovered area, for a total of 5500 square meters. We manufacture our products entirely at our facility, following the project from the procurement process to final testing.

Transformer design is done through dedicated calculation and simulation software. The engineering department has two 3D CAD stations for the sizing and simulation of the transformer, which is then released to production once the control checks of both electrical and mechanical parameters have been carried out.
The production area has numerically controlled machines for cutting sheet metal, which can be configured for preforming them. The production process also has winding lines, drying and vacuum resin ovens

Our warehouse has about 9000 items that are properly managed by production scheduling so as to ensure continuity of production and supply.

Once the product is assembled, it is tested in our testing room according to current standards or according to the specifications requested by the customer. We are certified to perform testing by RINA, LLOYDS, DNV and various Certification bodies.
